Job Summary:
The FSR will install, maintain, test, repair and/or replace cable television transmission and distribution systems and associated hardware, including equipment in homes and commercial buildings. Along with analog and digital cable TV signals, High Speed Internet connections and Digital Telephone via coax cable will also be part of the job.
Job Qualifications:
Candidates should have the following qualifications and skills:
·A strong background in electronics.
·A strong background in personal computers and Microsoft Windows.
·A 2-year associates degree in related technical field or equivalent work experience.
·Working with hand tools and knowledge of building structures is a plus.
·Be physically able to climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
·Be willing to work outside in any kind of weather conditions, at any time of the night or day.
·Have good customer relation skills.
·A willingness to learn and adapt, as new technologies are constantly emerging.
·Be able to work effectively individually (without immediate supervision present), and function as a team player to complete larger projects.
·Other physical labor will be required from time to time, such as loading and unloading equipment, and general maintenance in and around the local office.

Hours:
A 40-hour workweek with normal hours ranging between:
6:00 AM & 9:30 PM Monday – Friday
6:00 AM & 5:00 PM on Saturday
Call-outs at any time of day or night (365 days a year) will happen for emergency purposes.
Must have and maintain a valied driver’s license.

The successful candidate will be required to acquire and maintain membership in the Union, and shall take up and maintain residency within a radius of fifteen (15) miles of the base area office or within the county in which the office is based within one hundred twenty (120) days.

Job Summary:
The CCS position is a very rewarding, yet challenging, position that requires us to provide customer service that exceeds the customer’s expectations. We take work orders, trouble calls and answer telephone calls assisting customers by providing information regarding;

•Understanding their billing, our charges and different payment options
•Services and special campaigns for our services including Digital TV, High Definition, High Speed Internet with Prolog Express, Blue Ridge Digital Phone, Blue Ridge Home Security, Video on Demand, Pay Per View, sports packages, internet portal services, and new services that we continue to add.
•Value in our services so we can offer retention efforts
•programming on the many channels that we offer
•guidance on connecting our equipment with customer equipment
•options that provide equipment functionality the customers are looking for
•trouble shooting techniques used to resolve equipment problems over the phone
•assistance with customers to set up on line bill pay and personalized home pages

In addition to the information we provide customers, we work with:

•Payment arrangements on over-due accounts
•Special reports, verifying the accuracy of our data
•Maintaining organized email folders to store information and work with a calendar to do follow ups for customers and their accounts
•Following up on customer survey responses
Job Qualifications:
This position requires a person who is able to successfully function and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Necessary skills include proficient typing, organizational skills, and computer skills. We must maintain a positive demeanor and know how to tactfully respond to the most difficult situations. The position requires the skill and personality to respectfully accommodate the most challenging customers, while keeping the company’s policies and guidelines in perspective.

A Customer Care Specialist must be able to meet, and maintain, company standards for customer care, accuracy, monitoring, attendance, and call handling. To assist with these requirements we provide ongoing training.

As our Blue Ridge Commercial Sales department continues to expand, we are currently seeking a Level 2 technical support representative to assist our staff and customers as the point of contact for Blue Ridge Business Phone problems. This new responsibility will be to research the problem, see if it can be resolved through education or if it may need to be escalated to our Provisioning Department, Network Operations Center or if a trip to the customer’s home will be required.
