Shift: 3PM-11PM or 11PM-7AM, 40 hrs per week to include weekends and holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $15/hr

*Note: Employees are required to work in house for their first 90 days. Once completed, employees may request a hybrid WFH 3-day flex schedule. Candidates must live in Pennsylvania and reside no more than 50 miles from our base office in Palmerton. Must also have a High Speed Data Connection with a Minimum of 100 Mbps and a quiet dedicated office space.

PenTeleData, a leader in Data Transport technologies, has an exciting career opportunity available for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Answering High Volume Telephones
  • Responding to customer emails and chat messages
  • Troubleshooting customer issues
  • Speaking with customers in reference to abuse issues / policy violations
  • Corresponding with customers in reference to service issues
  • Communicating with Partners in reference to accounts
  • Working with other PTD departments to resolve customer issues
  • Processing new residential accounts
  • Quoting prices for dial-up services
  • Processing changes to existing accounts
  • Answering billing questions
  • Making courtesy calls to customers
  • Processing PPV orders
  • Other duties as assigned by management

**Our CSR’s must be able to meet and maintain company standards for customer care, accuracy, monitoring, attendance and call handling. To assist with these requirements, we provide ongoing training.

Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems
  • Understanding of computer virus and network security
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Excellent Communication Skills- oral and written
  • Good Typing Skills
  • Good Organizational Skills
